Coleen Elizabeth Westall Davis

Coleen Elizabeth Westall Davis, 77, of Marion, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born in McDowell County on August 2, 1947 to the late Grayson Finley and Louemer Neneve Lamb Finley.

Coleen worked in insurance sales for many years. She also was employed with McDowell County Department of Social Services for a period. Coleen was a Christian lady with a sweet loving spirit. She had a very big heart, and it brought her joy to give to others. She was known to help anyone who needed it, and she was a faithful contributor to many charitable organizations. Coleen will be remembered as a mentor to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Joann Mahan; granddaughter, Brandi Neneve Mahan; and her brother, Bill Shehan.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Louis McKinney (Brittany); grandson, Daniel Mahan (DD); granddaughter, Kearston Frady (CJ); and two great-grandchildren, Ashton and Aaliyah Lamb. She is also survived by Porter Lamb (Christine) who she thought of as a son.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Don Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
