Cohen Clinton Sprinkle

On the evening of Friday, October 30th, 2020, Mr. Cohen Clinton Sprinkle, age 64, of Old Fort, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord at his residence.  The son of the late Nan “Nanny” Sprinkle, Cohen was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on May 22, 1956.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his special aunt, Annie.

Cohen, who was of the Baptist faith, had a love for racing and an interest in sports, especially if UNC Tar Heels was playing.  A man with a big heart, it did Cohen’s heart good to speak of his younger days and fishing with his mother.

He is survived by his longtime friend and significant other, Trena Davis Nanney of Old Fort; cousin, Wayne Freeman of Marion; and special and close friend, Ruby Piercy of Old Fort; along with many other friends. 

In keeping with Cohen’s wishes, no services will be held.  Family and friends wishing to leave a thought and/or memory are encouraged to do so by clicking on “tribute wall” above the obituary.
