Clara Gardner

Clara Webb Gardner, age 80, of Marion, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Born in McDowell County, North Carolina on March 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William “Will” and Nellie Willis Webb.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Ray Gardner; her two sisters Grace Arrowood and Faye Owensby; her great-grandchildren Gregory Hudson; and two angel great-grandbabies.

Clara was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. She was known as a generous person always helping those in need. She enjoyed being a homemaker where she loved to cook for others always making sure everyone was well fed.

Mrs. Gardner is survived by her daughter Vickie Milam and husband Jerry; two grandchildren Hannah Milam Riddle and husband Justin, Luke Milam and wife Jessica; three great-grandchildren Macayden Riddle, Bentley Milam and Maggie Milam; and also surviving a sister Ruth Willis and a brother Claude Webb.
