Christian August Powser

     Christian August Powser, 49, of Nebo, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at Mission McDowell Hospital.

     Christian was born in Monterey County, California, on July 20, 1973, to Earl Clifford Peyatt and Joy Lee Thompson Peyatt. Christian was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Rams. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and a friend to everyone. Christian was very compassionate toward animals. His hobbies included fishing, metal detecting, and gardening. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

     He is survived by his wife, Susan D. Bates; his parents, Earl & Joy Peyatt; his grandmother, Caroline Powser; four children, Jamie Powser, Christian Powser, Jareth Johnson, and Emily Powser; two step chidren, Nate and Joe; two sisters, Sarah Lynn Staab and Jenifer Teri-Jo Peyatt; a brother, Shaun Peyatt; two uncles, James Thompson and Kevin Powser; six grandchildren, Aidan, Isaiah, Genesis, Theo, Miles, Reece, and Ivory on the way.

     A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
