Charles Wesley Thomas

Charles Wesley Thomas, 51, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton.

Chuck was born in Santa Rosa, California on April 25, 1973, to the late Cora Lee Wilson and Gary Benny Thomas. He grew up in the Glenwood community of McDowell County, NC. Chuck loved music and was the drummer for the band, M3. He enjoyed live concerts and sharing his music with the world. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed motorcycling, hiking, fishing, and camping. Most of all, he loved spending time with his daughters, who were the light of his life. He will always be loved and missed.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Riley Thomas and Ramsey Thomas; a sister, Jennifer Thomas; his close cousin, Michelle Cline; many other extended family members; and his beloved dog, Russell.

The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the home of Michelle Cline, 509 State Street, Marion, NC 28752.
