Charlene Ann Daniels

Charlene Ann Daniels, age 54, of Newland, North Carolina, passed away on the night of Monday, August 6, 2018 at Life Care Center of Banner Elk with her loving family by her side.  The daughter of Dolly Daniels of Newland, she was born in Avery County on July 29, 1964.

A dedicated worker, Charlene had a big heart and would help others before herself.  She loved her children and her grandchildren. 

She is survived by one daughter, Monica Sheppard (Matthew); one son, Joeallen Hughes; one brother, Zeke “Butch” Daniels (Judy Miller); two sisters, Chenella Benfield (Bill) and Rosa Crowder (Bimbo); five grandchildren, Cadin, Daija, Caysen, Maggy and Lauryn; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held and will be announced once the date and time have been confirmed.
