Cassandra Sue Kaylor

Cassandra Sue Ledbetter Kaylor, age 66, of Nebo, North Carolina passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Memorial Campus-Asheville. She was born on April 14, 1953 in McDowell County to the late Charles and Elmira Hemphill Ledbetter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Gabriel Seth Kaylor.

Cassandra was known to have a fun spirit and was friendly to everyone. She spent a large part of her life tending to her family which she loved. She was known as a very caring and giving person. Cassandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving and devoted husband of forty-seven years, Calvin “Hammer” Kaylor; three children, Brian Kaylor (Anissa), Charlie Kaylor (Stephanie) and Samantha Kaylor Stevens (Jeff); two special sons, Randy Johnson and Joe Gorecki; three siblings, Charles “Chuck” Ledbetter, Holly Giuffrida, Cathy Dickey (Lee) and one sister-in-law, Maxine Kaylor. Also surviving Cassandra are six grandchildren, Casey, Brittany, Hailey, Reagan, Madison and Seth Kaylor; one great-grandchild, Adalyn Kaylor and her special Rosebud.
