Carolyn Ann Simmons Manley

Carolyn Ann Simmons Manley, 69, of Marion, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Mission Memorial Hospital of Asheville.

Carolyn was born on November 24, 1953 in Wayne County Michigan to the late Troy Simmons and the late Ruth Byrd Simmons. She loved baking and spending time with her family. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of fifty one years, George Manley; two sons, Tim Byrd and Keith Manley (Sherry); two daughters, Teresa Wills (Robert) and Judy Manley (Darian Cox); a sister, Barbara McKinney; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of Beams Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00
