Carolyn Goodman McIntosh

On April 19th 2021, Carolyn McIntosh (Goodman) of Marion, NC age 62, passed away in the hospital due to complications of heart disease. 

Carolyn was born in Williamson, WVa and grew up in Northern Virginia. Her free spirit led her to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina where she discovered her absolute love of the mountains and all things nature. She had a spiritual creative soul and loved her family with all her heart. She was a patriot for her country and was an unwavering Child Of God. 

Carolyn is survived by her father, David Goodman; her husband and soul-mate, Jack McIntosh; her sister, Sharon Goodman (Robert Belsjoe) her brothers, David Goodman, Jr and Steven Goodman (Kitty dec). Her children, Paul Lonon (Sam); Penny Murray (Joshua) and Jack McIntosh Jr (Andrea) four grandchildren and numerous other family members. 

Carolyn is preceded in death by her Mother, Ethel “Lou” Goodman of Marion, NC.

We know that Carolyn will be watching over us all while fishing and walking the mountains of heaven and our world was a better place having had her in it. She will be greatly missed by many. 

At the request of the family there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life is being planned for May 3, 2021.
