Carolyn Wilson England, age 68, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in the company of her family and friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 24, 1947 in Yancey County, North Carolina to the late Jack and Betty Jo Webb Tipton.
She took great joy in working with her flowers and doing floral designs, tending to her garden, but most of all, Carolyn loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Newdale.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Orin John Wilson, who passed away in June 2001, and her brother, Jimmy Ray Tipton.
Left to cherish her memories, her husband of 11 years, Billy Joe England of the home; one daughter, Trinity Wilson Huskins (Chris) of Nebo; one son, Orin John Wilson II of Burnsville; three stepchildren, Doug Wilson (Jeanne) of Morganton, Deborah Young (Roger) of Burnsville and Donna Winters (David) of Burnsville; two sisters, Wanda Fox (Ronnie) of Burnsville and Linda Grindstaff of Green Mountain. Carolyn is also survived by seven grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes, there will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
