Carol Martin McCall

Carol Martin McCall, 73, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, October 02, 2022 at Autumn Care of Marion.

She was born in Buncombe County to the late Wayne Martin and Elsie Marlowe Martin on March 10, 1949.

Carol was a strong, independent woman. Her family was her world, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed watching television, and she was talented at making crafts. She also had a special place in her heart for cats. Carol loved the beauty of the mountains and the beach.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rick McCall; and her stepfather, Edsel Martin.

She is survived by her son, Michael Martin (Robin); six grandchildren, James Ollis (Tasha), Patrick Martin (Brittany), Zachary Martin (Hayley), Isaac Martin, Cody Penley, and Chelsea Meyer (Thomas); six great grandchildren, Carter Penley, Savannah Martin, Grayson Meyer, Brody Martin, Isaiah Martin, and Braden Martin; and two sisters, Priscilla and Wanda Kay.

Services will be private for the family at Beam Funeral Service.
