Bruce Ivan Woody

Bruce Ivan Woody, 70, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at Memorial Campus of Asheville.

Bruce was born in Mitchell County to the late Dock Woody and the late Mildred Lois Robinson Woody on November 02, 1951. Bruce retired from McDowell Cement following forty years of service. His favorite past time was watching “Dr. Pol” and NASCAR.  He also enjoyed traveling to the coast. Bruce was a loving father and brother and will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife, Katherine Queen Woody.

Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Erika Woody Crawford (Jonathan Crawford II) and Megan Woody (Cody Lee Bishop); two brothers, Glenn Woody (Janice) and Dennis Woody (Angela) and Trinity Campbell, who was thought of as a granddaughter.
