Bruce Randolph, age 79, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City. A native of Yancey County, North Carolina, born on February 12, 1939, Bruce was the son of the late Hobert and Queen Belle Honeycutt Randolph.
An avid “Rock Hound”, Bruce had a passion for making gem stones. He loved to camp and spending quality time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Randolph, who passed away July 1, 2012.
Bruce is survived by six children, Kathy Randolph McKinney, Michael Thomas Randolph, Susan Randolph O’Conner (Dave), Debra Randolph Hudgins (Daryll), Alan “Scott” Randolph and Steven Claude Randolph (Tia); five siblings, Tice Randolph, Ruth Fortune, Carol Randolph, Con Randolph and Clain Randolph; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
