Bobby Lee Moore

Bobby Lee Moore, 74, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was born to the late Robert Lee and Orie Smith Moore, on July 11, 1948.

Bobby retired from Marion Correctional following twenty seven years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Mystic Tie #237. Bobby was known as a devoted husband, father and the best pawpaw ever. His family was his world. Bobby helped put his grandchildren through college so they would have the degree he never had. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Moore.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of forty three years, Janet Buckner Moore; one daughter, Lorie Nichols (Jerry); two sisters, Julia Robertson (Mike) and Elizabeth Spurill; two grandchildren, Hannah White and Justin Nichols (Jodie); one great granddaughter, Caroline Bailey White and two nephews, Chris and Stacey Brenson.

A graveside service will take place on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Cherry Springs Memorial Park at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Tim Conner officiating.
