Barbara Ellen Bryant

Barbara Ellen Bryant, 36, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Mission Hospital- McDowell due to COVID-19 complications.

She was born in Caldwell County on November 11, 1984 to Donna Crow of Marion and the late Robert Lee Bryant, Jr. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents.

Barbara worked for some time as a firefighter, but her greatest passion was children. She loved being around children and taking care of them. She earned an associate degree in early childhood education. A sweet, quiet, and pure-hearted soul, Barbara would do anything for anybody. She was also a big fan of country music. Anyone who knew Barbara was truly blessed.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers and one sister, Michael Bennett Bryant of Marion, Robert Chadwick Bryant of Lenoir, and Sally Anne Bryant of Burnsville.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.
