During the early morning hours of Sunday, March 08, 2020, Austin Jeremiah Stockton, infant son of Rev. Casey Stockton and Ashley Aycock Stockton, was embraced in the arms of Jesus at McDowell Hospital with his loving family by his side.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. – Jerimiah 29:11
Left to cherish his precious memory are his beloved parents, Rev. Casey Stockton and Ashley Aycock Stockton; two sisters, Madison Lorraine and Jaylee Belle Stockton; maternal grandparents, Lynn Davis Richardson, and George Calhoun Aycock Jr.; paternal grandmother Mary Johnson; maternal great grandmother Ruth Griffin Aycock, and paternal great grandmothers Anna Smith Stockton and Barbara Lou Ward. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles Rev. Clay Dale, Meg Dale, Tyler Stockton, Trey Aycock, and Danielle Aycock, as well as numerous cousins and friends.
A service of remembrance for Austin will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Toby Crowder officiating. A private interment will follow the service at Snow Hill Cemetery in Marion.
