Anthony Carroll Ollis

Anthony Carroll Ollis, fondly known as Tony, passed away on December 7, 2024, at his residence. Born on December 18, 1955, in Burke County, North Carolina, Tony was a loving husband, brother, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

For over 27 years, Tony dedicated his career as an engineer with James Tool Machine and Engineering, where he became known not only for his expertise but also for his vibrant spirit and good sense of humor. Colleagues and friends alike cherished his ability to bring laughter and warmth to any environment. He was loved deeply, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and camaraderie.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Brenda E. Ollis; his brothers, Tim Owens and his wife Regina, and Robert Owens and his wife Jessica; and his sister, Anita Bracebridge, along with her husband Ron. He also leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Ollis Owens, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.

Tony’s engaging personality and unwavering affection for his friends and family will be profoundly missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
