Anne Freeman Roscoe, age 68, of Marion, North Carolina, while surrounded by her loved ones, departed to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville North Carolina. The daughter of the late Wallace and Natalie Carriuolo Freeman, she was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 16th, 1950.
Anne was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church for over 30 years, where she enjoyed attending church and worshiping the Lord when she was able to attend. She was known as a wonderful homemaker, and loved spending time with her family especially the grandchildren. Anne was also known as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and wonderful Christian lady.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty-nine years Steve Roscoe. Anne is also survived by two sons; Mark J. Roscoe of Cape Cod, Mass, and Brian C. Roscoe (Cindy)of Granite Falls, North Carolina; four grandchildren; Cayden, Eli, Ella, and Sophia.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery.
