Anna Leach

Ann Leach passed over on Thursday, April 14th, 2016, at the age of 85. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she had recently moved to Morganton, North Carolina from her previous home in Hughesville, Pennsylvania. 

Ann and her husband William "Bill" Michael Leach II (deceased) had lived in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania for over 30 years in a mountain cabin they built by hand with the help of their family. A former social worker with the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, Ann was a volunteer with Victim Services of Sullivan County.

Affectionately known as "Granny Annie", Ann is survived by her daughter Linda Joeckel and family, and by son William Micheal "Mike" Leach III and family. She has four grandchildren and six (soon to be seven) great-grandchildren.
