Angelia Annette Buchanan

Angelia Annette Barrier Buchanan, age 53, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 08, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Lenoir.

Born in McDowell County on May 04, 1967, she was born to Max Barrier and the late Madelyn Penland.

She was preceded in death by her mother; stepmother, Ruth Barrier; and a sister, Tonya Penland.

She truly loved her family, and she especially adored her grandkids.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her two children, Ashley Buchanan (Travis) and Branton Tyler Buchanan (Ciara); seven grandchildren, Wyatt, Alexis, TJ, Sophie, Karli, Cheyanna, and Logan; and two sisters, Cynthia Stamey and Deanna Owens.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
