Alyshia Latoya Conley, age 47, of Macon, Georgia and formerly of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, Georgia, following a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of Gary Lynch of Union Mills, North Carolina and the late Deborah Harshaw Bivins, and Ida Sue Conley, she was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on April 24, 1972.
An avid shopper, Alyshia was a fighter during her battle with cancer. She was never known to have complained, and in fact, was always happy when she was around others. She loved “family time” and was one proud mom. Alyshia was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Marion.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her three children, Ondrayl Tre’von Conley of Macon, Georgia, Ty’Rikka Shan’quise Logan of Macon, Georgia and Candra Shaiterya Conley of Macon Georgia; eight siblings, Carolyn Carson (Guy), Eddie Hemphill, Ron Hemphill (Woogie), Tryrain Lynch, Rhinda Lynch, Xavier Conley Benjamin Conley, and Chad Lynch. Alyshia is also survived by several nieces and nephews, special niece, Larhonda Shaw; her best friend who was like her sister, Cynthia Jones and her aunt Sara Gains.
A service to celebrate the life of Alyshia will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Elder Shawn Hooper and Pastor Jeff Conley officiating. Interment will follow at McDowell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
