Alice Jean Early Randolph, 70, of Nebo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.
She was born in McDowell County on May 20, 1954 to the late Lillian Eugene Early Scott. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Wayne Scott.
Alice dedicated her working career to clerical roles, primarily within the banking industry. She was a nurturing soul, known for her deep affection for animals, particularly her beloved dog and cats, who brought joy and comfort to her life. Her home was a refuge filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of her generous spirit.
Beyond her work and passion for animals, Alice's heart expanded to embrace her adopted grandchildren. She found profound joy in spending time with them, imparting life lessons and sharing her faith as a proud and faithful Christian. Her goal was to teach them about Jesus, and in doing so, she left an indelible mark on their lives as well as the lives of others. She will also be remembered as a loving mother. Alice enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; she relished shopping trips, poured herself into creative endeavors like sewing, and took delight in preparing and sharing delicious meals. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Randolph, with whom she just celebrated 52 years of marriage; her daughter, Jennifer Randolph; three sisters, Doris Moody (David), Terri Burns, and Toni Allen (Phillip); six nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
