Alfred Samuel MacJarrett

Alfred Samuel MacJarrett of Marion, passed away on the evening of Monday, September 5, 2022 at Memorial Mission in Asheville.

Alfred was born in Clinton, New York to the late Homer MacJarrett and Violet Freeman MacJarrett Gallagher on August 31,1961. He enjoyed woodworking, drawing and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family most of all, especially his kids. Alfred was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was also known for his love of music. He had a great memory and a great personality and never met a stranger.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda MacJarrett; three children, Chris Diptrio (Nancy), Amie Bielski and Allen Samuel MacJarrett (Jessica); four brothers, Vale MacJarrett, Webb MacJarrett, Frederick Gallgher and Hank Gallgher; one sister, Mae MacJarrett; seven grandchildren, Damien Bielski (Destiney), Angel MacJarrett, Brionna MacJarrett, Dwayne MacJarrett, Amber-Nae MacJarrett, Desire Diptrio and Dillion Diptrio along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the chapel.
