Abundio Martinez Garcia

Abundio Martinez Garcia, age 71, of Flat Rock, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville following a brief illness.  The son of the late Severiano Martinez Perez and Victoria Garcia, he was born in Progreso Municipio de rio Verde, Mexico on July 11, 1949.

An amazing husband, father and grandfather, Abundio loved everyone he came into contact with.  Having had a big heart, he was an avid baseball fan and was a supporter of the Houston Astros.

He is survived by his wife, Micaela Bolaños de Martinez; five children, Carlos Martinez Bolaños, Victoria Ledezma, Alma Martinez Bolaños, Laura Ledezma and Teresa Martinez Bolaños; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
